In January 2010, Dr Steve Fabes left London to cycle round the world, by cycling all 6 continents. This trip is going to take him 4 1/2 to 5 years, so he came to MSG Bikes to supply and ergonomically fit him to a Santos Travelmaster. with such a long trip, comfort & reliability was Steve's main priority, hence the Santos Travelmaster 2.6 (26" wheels)in cromoly steel, with a Rohloff 14 speed hub gearing.

Sarah Outen L2L via The World

On the 1st April 2011, Sarah Outen kayaked under Tower Bridge London on her epic adventure to circumnavigate the world by human power.

This is just the start of her 2 1/2 year journey, 20,000 miles, 3 continents by bike, on her Santos expedition bike Hercules, 2 ocean rows and 500 kayaking miles.

NEW WORLD RECORD set by Round the World Cyclist James Bowthorpe on his Santos Belt-driven Rohloff TravelMaster, one of the range of Santos touring bikes, was specified and ergonomically fitted by Alasdair, 18,000 miles in 175 days.

James Bowthorpe speaks to the Financial Times about his record-breaking round-the-world ride.
