The Discover Tandeming Team are great lovers of tandeming and between us have over 50 years of tandeming experience. We are keen to share this experience with others. Our expert team of tandeming instructors will show you all the skills you will need to become confident tandem riders.

Whether you are looking for a fun day out, a Celebration day, a try a tandem day or a weekend break at a hotel or B & B we can organise it for you.

We supply you with all the kit you will require for a great day out.

because bicycles built for two keep you together regardless of your abilities. They are sociable, romantic, and team riding is rewarding

Another wonderful advantage is being able to communicate, this is easy because you are seated so closely. Tandems are also great for carrying heavy loads, and pulling trailers.

Tandems are great with kids. When they are tall enough usually from 6 yrs upwards we can fit kiddie cranks, these devices raise the rear pedals so children can help pedal too! and you can travel further distances.

Finally riding a tandem is nothing short of exhilarating. .

Discover Tandeming Days

Never ridden a tandem before, our Discover Tandeming Days are easy and fun to do. We equip you with maps, routes and all the kit you need for a great day out.

Tandeming is fun for everyone. We start by selecting a quality tandem that suit's your needs and teach you the skills and techniques of tandeming. After some practise runs in quiet road, we send you on an experience you will always remember.

Kids just love to get involved so what better way to do this than tandeming. For active kids what better way of burning off that energy than riding a tandem with you. Concerned about road safety, then rest assure tandeming is the safest way to cycle with children.

On your Discover Tandeming Days we will supply you with maps, routes, places to visit, tea shops and pubs for a great day out.

Available Tuesday to Saturday, from 9.30 and to be returned by 5 o'clock. Price £50 per couple.

Buying a Tandem

Want to buy but don't know where to start, then book a Discover Tandeming Day, this is one of the simplest ways to choose your tandem; we have a range of tandems from Bernds, Santos, & our own custom built demo tandems available. You can test ride as many different models as you wish in the day. Concerned about sizing or unsure which style of tandem you need, then come and discuss your needs with us. We can also offer a full ergonomic computer aided bike fitting.

Tandem Spares and Components

Getting Tandem spares can be a nightmare. We can supply you with a range of tandem specific components that you can rely on in all conditions from the fast lightweight to laden touring. We also repair and refurbish all makes of tandems.
