Dr Steve Fabes - Cycling the 6

In January 2010, Dr Steve Fabes left London to cycle round
the world, by cycling all 6 continents. This trip is going to take him 5 years, so he came to MSG Bikes to supply and ergonomically fit
him to a Santos Travelmaster. With such a long trip, comfort &
reliability was Steve's main priority, hence the Santos Travelmaster 2.6
(26" wheels) in cromoly steel, with a rohloff 14 speed hub gearing.
By April 2010 Steve had completed his first continent Europe, however he had to return home for a minor knee op, nothing to do with the ergonomic fitting, and resumed his trip in August 2010. In July 2011 Steve had cycled to Cape Town, South Africa, having complete over 23,000 kms. He spent the next few months in Cape town resting and planning his next stage - South America. In November 2011 Steve flew to Argentina to start the South American stage. |
