We can work on any kind of bike or tandem and have all the specialist tools, genuine spares and expertise. That's why we've been certified as a Shimano Service Centre and are members of the Association of Cycle Traders.

Tune-up - from £35.00

  • Frame: visually checked for damage
  • Brakes: check for worn cables and brake blocks. Brake block alignment.
  • Gears: adjusted for best possible function. Derailleurs and shifters checked for wear or damage.
  • Chain: check chain and sprockets for wear and lubricate
  • Tyres: inspect for wear, damage and inflate to correct pressure.
  • Wheels: check if true, inspect for damage and condition of bearings
  • Steering: check headset, steering alignment, correct fitting and security.
  • Bottom Bracket: adjust (if possible) for free rotation without play. Crank bolts set to correct torque.

Service - from £65.00

We regrease the bearings - then perform a Tune-up. We recommend a Service every three to six months.

  • Brake: check system, and fit new brake blocks and cables if necessary.
  • Gears: check system and adjust, fit new cables if necessary.
  • Wheels: trued, bearings regreased.
  • Headset: regreased.
  • Bottom Bracket: inspect and new sealed unit fitted if needed.

Overhaul - from £90.00

We strip and rebuild your whole bike then give it a Service and Tune-up. All the wearing parts are replaced so your bike will function like new. It  includes:

  • Frame and Forks: checked for alignment, dropouts and gear hanger aligned if necessary.
  • Brakes: dismantled, solvent-cleaned, lubricated and reassembled: cables and blocks replaced.
  • Gears: cables replaced; derailleurs and shifters replaced if needed; chain and sprockets replaced.
  • Wheels: removed, trued and spokes tensioned, bearings replaced and regreased; freehub body replaced if needed.
  • Pedals: (inc SPD) regreased and adjusted
  • Headset: stripped and regreased; replaced if required; stem removed and greased
  • Chainset: replaced if required.
